Must visit temple.. this temple architecture is carried step by step..This is the only temple where Lord Vishnu blesses devotees in his 5 forms (Parabrahman and his 4 vyuhas), in kalyana kolam along with Thayar. It is also the only temple where Brahma blesses in a standing posture, that too in the Lord’s moolasthanam

Fantastic perumal temple, situated near Kumbakonam, with huge moolavar, the main deity and his consort Rukmani devi and other deities. The speciality of this divya desam is the big "kal garudan" ( Garudan in stone-fully) twice in a year comes out in procession bearing perumal. The still-unanswered puzzle is the garudan is carried by 4 people from sanctum-sanctorum (moolasthanam) then 8,16,32 and 64 people on road and reverse while reaching sanctum-sanctorum. Don't miss to visit the temple when around kumbakonam.

Amazing Temple ,the architecture of the temple is unique and one of the few places were Godesscan be seen from almost the entrance of the temple. Offcourse Kal (stone) Garudar is oneof the most famous attractions..This temple is unique as Nachiyaar ,The Goddess takes precedence than perumal. God & Goddess are gracing the People who visit the temple in their Wedding Ceremony along with their whole family including Lord Brahma. There is one more Nachiyaar kovil at Uraiyur(Trichy) which is also a divya desam and equally magnificent.
