This is a small but powerful shiva temple and dedicated to Shani bhagwan, his consorts along with his sons Guliga and Maandi. This place is known for Maandi parigaram. In this kshetram, shanishwarar is in the form of Mangala Shani and also considered auspicious as he his present along with his entire family. One can perform maandi shanti parigaram or Homam and can definitely experience the blessings. Marriages,business related, Shani dasa issues can be alleviated.

Though small It is a famous and great temple. Though Shiv temple it is mainly famous for Shani Bhagwan. Shani is present here with his wife Mandhi and Jyeshtha and 2 sins Maandhi and Gulikan. Due to being present with entire family Shani is very benign and is called Mangal Shani. Temple is on main road adjacent to famous Nachiyar Koil. It is Shani parihar sthal. Special puja is done early morning on Saturday. It is must visit for people who have Shani dosha of any type.

Many of us know Saneeswaran temple is at Tirunallar. But Saneeswarar is here with all his family members. Whatever be the requests, grievance, all will be cleared immediately since the God here is happy mood with his family.
