There is no proper management. Seating is not good. Stuffed too many people. Cleanliness is non-tolerable. Every time we need to use the washroom we need to pay but no apt service is provided, the person in-charge for issuing the waiting class ticket doesn't have basic manners to talk. Basically, making money is their concept but in return no hygiene is provided. It's the worst service you get after paying them

This is an iconic place within Howrah station Old complex. Cool breeze from the Hoogly river refreshes you the year round when uou stand on the balcony. A breath-taking view of the iconic Howrah Bridge (Rabindra Setu). Good to find that a elevator has been added to rise to the waiting hall it would certainly help the older people and the people with disabilities. Also air-conditioning has been added. These things are new to me as I m here again after more than 35 years. One thing that I didn't like is charging the passengers even with a valid ticket on per hour basis. The waiting area also has become mich cramped during the peak hours and the washrooms are also not well kept. This just not fulfill the criteria of an upper class waiting room. Need mich improvement.
