The Jahan Ara Pavilion was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved daughter Jahan Ara Begum, who was one of his most trusted advisors. The pavilion is located on the eastern side of the Agra Fort and is known for its beautiful architecture and decoration.
The pavilion is made of white marble and features beautiful inlaid work and carvings. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden and offers stunning views of the Yamuna River and the Taj Mahal in the distance.
The Jahan Ara Pavilion was used by the Mughal emperors as a place of relaxation and retreat. It is said that Shah Jahan would often come here to spend time with his daughter and enjoy the beautiful views of the river and the Taj Mahal.

On either side of the Khas Mahal, there is an pavilion with roofs and curved chhajjas. A unique feature is the provision of white marble curtain wall which separates the main palace from these pavilions. These pavilions are made from red stone and coated with material like white marble. One among this pavilion is called Jahan Ara.
