This has become one of the most attractive places to visit in recent times in WestTambaram. It is a pond surrounded by temples with a nicely paved pathway barricaded with steel railings on the pondside for walking/jogging around. The Lord Ganesha temple at the eastern end of the pond underwent massive renovations in terms of construction of a new temple premises with gopuram(Kumbhabhishekam also performed recently). The pond has also undergone cleaning and maintenance by the authorities. An ideal place to visit for those people who wish to go to temples or just walk around the pond soaking in the serenity, watching the temples as you amble about. It is prominently located on Mudichur Main road with a bus stop designated as Tambaram Tank for easy access.

It's useful for walking in the tree and pond environment. Feel so warm to watch fishes and ducks in pond. It gives pleasent feeling when walking. The children park need to be maintained properly. Some of the swing and Zee zaa are broken. It's has another good point for the elders and devotees. The park itself has Shiv, Vishnu, Ganapathy, Hanuman and Amman temple. And restrooms to be maintained properly.
