Must visit palace. Try to have Guide. They will help you in better understanding of palace with it’s significance. Also there is discount on student id card so students can carry id card. ID card should be in hard copy.
There are lot many thinks to watch see and understand. I really loved it.

Incredible structure. The second largest palace in India. Built over several hundred years, City palace strong & secured residence for then Maharaanas (The Great Warrior Kings). The collection of Royal Jewelry and armor is invaluable. This is the museum that must be visited with a knowledgeable guide at hand in order to understand the history and appreciate the beauty.

Palace is awesome, but feels lil artificial.
Not original, lots of renovation is done.
2-3 hours of visit time. Guide is not needed, everywhere directions are mentioned to visit palace.
Guide not needed.
Awesome to click pics, Tickets to be taken from main gate.
