My father introduced to me and my sister about this restaurant in 2006-2007 as we were living in hostel at Pune that time. We ordered 'lung-fung-soup' and some dishes.
I have settled in Pune, since 2006-07 I am having Chinese food in this restaurant.
My husband and me visit this place as well along with our son most often. I am happy to say that since my 1st visit at this restaurant I have never gone to any other restaurant to eat Chinese authentic food. And even if we have gone due to some reason we have not got the authentic taste like China Gate.

Had dinner about 1 week above.. Ordered Chicken Hakka Noodles,Manchow Soup, Chicken Lolllipop.. But the noodles was burned and was informed to the staff that the food item was burned. But the staff didn't do any action and his reaction was professional less. The Soup was okayish amd the chickn lollipop is the only thing liked. Thats why i give an extra star. Price is high for the food and Service.

I visited China Gate during lunch hours with my friend. This restaurant is on JM Road, Pune. Four wheeler parking you have to manage yourself. This restaurant has two seating sections inside & outside. We preferred to sit in inside section. The ambience of the restaurant is nothing to talk about as it was old setup & require renovation.

We started with Veg Manchow Soup & in the Starters we had ordered Crispy Chilly Potato. The Soup & the Starter were good.

In the Main Course, we had ordered Vegetable Burnt Garlic Fried Rice, Vegetable Noodles Hakka & Veg Manchurian with gravy. Overall the food quantity is enough to feed 3 people with big appetites! The food was served hot & in a reasonable time. Vegetable Burnt Garlic Fried Rice, was missing two important flavours of this dish i.e. Burnt & Garlic. Vegetable Noodles Hakka, was quite dry, I could not eat it separately! I had to mix it with Veg Manchurian Gravy. Veg Manchurian Gravy was good.

The staff were OK & the service was quick enough! Cost wise, a bit on the higher side!
