The service engineer denied the extended warranty for Poco X3 Pro due to water damage, which was true. They quoted close to ₹12,300 for the entire replacement of motherboard, with data loss. Then I took the device to a local service person, and got it done around ₹3,000 albeit with data loss.
I do understand that the service engineer didn't want anymore issues to creep up due to the water damage, although he could've suggested a local repair shop with a bit of risk.

Worst service centre for Xiaomi, very rude customer experience. The phone number given in google is not attended by anyone. I reached at 4:15pm and they were willing to check the complaint even. I waited for 10-15 minutes as they already had a customer. The working time is shown till 7:30pm. The staff had a ridiculous and rude behavior. I was told that they will only work till 4 and not listening to my concern regarding the phone. I also asked them to keep the phone so that they can check according to their time and inform me within two days( Monday) but that request was also put down. There was no proper covid protocols followed not even one sanitiser. Proper working hours are not displayed in the shop.
