this is a very good place one must visit this place it has its own beauty and Glory this place is related to the history of India and gives motivation to the Travellers and tell them about the culture and heritage of India we must be proud on this monument because nothing can come in between we and our patriotism I think the reason behind this monuments is to unite every Indian and see every religion in form of a United body named as India. every Indian must feel proud to have this monument on his land and he or she whatever religion follows, will not opened for the existence of this monument with these words I expect you to visit there and feel every word I have said thank

Kathi Darwaza, the main entrance to the Fort premise. The antique and stupendous wall and the reminiscents of artistic and mega builders are visible from every nook and corner of the medieval architecture. There is a famous Badam Wari Park- a tourist destinations, well maintained and well crafted full of rush during summers. On the eastern side of the park the view of the Nigeen Lake is magnificent and charming. If you are a local then visit the park with your family. For foreigners no such restrictions. From the park the magnanimous sight of the fort is jaw-dropping. The natural surrounding of the fort is mesmerizing. Unfortunately, the fort is occupied by the security forces. Any history lover will get painstakings from such a horrific mauling of the State's History and Historic gigantic structure. You can move in a full circle around the Hari Parbat, the hillock on which the Fort has been erected. At every dimension you will be amazed to have a magnificent look of the fort.

It is a big gate made by Mughals and entrance to hill lock of Sufi Saint of Kashmir Sultan ul Arifeen locally known to people as Peer Mukdoom sahib, the tomb is situated at the hill lock and people offer there obeisance and pray in Mosque adjacent to it. It has also track to the hari Parbat fort and inside it is temple which is opened on specific periods.One can have a breathtaking view from the hill lock of down town area or old town of the srinagar city.It has been connected with the chair lift from Rainawari to the hill lock,other wise one has to climb through long stair cases of more than 100 steps. It is place of serenity and calmness .
