It's a very prominent landmark in the skyline of Srinagar. It's lit up very well too but there needs to be more care given to this monument in terms of landscaping, knowledge about the fort, guided tours, a small museum explaining the history of the fort etc. This fort has the potential of becoming a major tourist attraction if treated with a little more love and care.

Visiting Hariparbat Fort in Srinagar, Kashmir was a truly unforgettable experience. As soon as I arrived at the entrance of the fort, I was greeted by the stunning architecture of the massive structure, which was built by the Durrani Empire.
As I made my way inside, I couldn't help but feel awed by the intricate design and impressive size of the fort. The fort is situated on a hill and is surrounded by a beautiful garden, which added to the charm of the place. The fort also boasts of a Hindu temple, mosques, and a gurdwara, making it a symbol of the diverse religious and cultural history of the region.
I began my exploration of the fort by first visiting the Hindu temple. From there, I made my way to the mosques and the gurdwara, each of which was equally impressive and fascinating.
After exploring the religious sites, I began to climb the ramparts of the fort, which offered a breathtaking view of the entire city of Srinagar. From this vantage point, I could see the beautiful negeen lake and an over view of majestic Badamwari and the surrounding mountains, which only added to the majesty of the experience.

The southern side of Hari Parbat features Makhdoom Sahib, the shrine of Hamza Makhdoom, a 16th-century Kashmiri Sufi saint locally known as Hazrat Sultan and Sultan-ul-Arifeen.

Built below the fort is a mosque dedicated to Shah Badakhshi, a 17th-century Qadiri Sufi saint. The mosque was built by Mughal princess Jahanara Begum.
Love to see this great place. Visit once and feel its beauty ❤✌️????..
