Not sure about the cricket ground, but this was the hosting place for the Laxmi Vilas Heritage Garba. This review will focus only on Navratri 2022 celebrations.

From the Navratri perspective this was hosted & managed quite nicely. It was thronged by thousands of revelers during the 9(+1) days of Navratri. With good parking space, viewers seating, and snacks. It also had quite good players space, singers, high profile guest appearances, beautiful decorations, big screens for viewers with drone footage and more.

Some qualms were that there was always a dearth for daily passes and the season pass was sold out long back. There was also the long traffic jams that were caused due to people flocking to the event.

The daily pass was 500Rs for players, 350 Rs for normal viewers, going up to 1k Rs for VIP viewers (elevated).

From the event time standpoint it started at approx 9-9:30PM, with a 15 minute break at approx 10:45 and going on till late in the night.

Overall a good experience.

The ground form part of the Lakshmi Vilas Palace building complex - a spawling 700-acre (2.8 km2) complex in the heart of the city. The palace and the stadium, earlied belonged to the former rulers of Baroda and the patrons of cricket in Baroda - the Gaekwad.

The stadium has a seating capacity of 18,000 people. The use of the stadium for International cricket has been discontinued in favour of IPCL Sports Complex Ground.

For the first time ever in Vadodara we had the garba over there name as :- Lakshmi Vilas Palace who's queen is MS Radhika Raje Gaikwad. It has the good Ambience and a vehicle parking with all systematic manner. the Lakshmi Vilas palace Heritage grounds entry is from gate number 4 and is about to 1.4 km inside.
