The trail leading down from the post office towards rimai gives amazing views of the Bangladeshi landscape.
The trail down is little treacherous with moss covered rocks that are slippery and some of them are very low it feels like taking three steps at once.
The walk is good and you you also find small stream that cuts through.

A minor point of interest in this remote village. Go down to the rock-strewn stream and then up the hillside. Pay Rs.20 to the guy at the nearest little house and take the bamboo walkway up the tree. Paddy fields of Bangladesh's Sylhet valley can be seen. Panoramic view of greenery all around is soothing to your eyes.

You just get to see the plains of Bangladesh from a machan. For a fee of Rs.20/-, little disappointed. However, I guess this is the only source of revenue for people of this village.
The climb to the machan is through a bamboo walkway. This is inclined and is slippery at spots. It is also narrow and folks ascending and descending at the same time does lead to a little inconvenience.
