Also known as Dawki river is Asia's cleanest river. It is so clean that one can see the bottom of the river. The boat ride ticket is 800 per boat. It is a very beautiful and photogenic place.
Bad stuff:
The road to reach here is in very poor condition and under-construction. It took 6hrs to reach here.
You can see a lot of trucks on the road with lots of dust.
Only the place is good, no amenities are present such as public toilets.

Great experience on the Umangot River and indeed its Asia's Cleanest River.
The clean part of the river can be accessible through boating only.
Boating is available in this river and it's recommended from my side also it'll cost you 800/- per boat.
Also in winters it'll look more clean than other seasons and in monsoon you can go for river rafting.
For accommodation there are very few places here so if possible book in advance.
The boating area is nearby to the Bangladesh border.

The best thing seen in long time. This river is extremely clean crystal clear experience. I loved it. The boat ride was smooth. Must visit when in Meghalaya. Dawki us very popular amongst tourists. Had lovely time here.
