The spectacular view of the Dwaki river was truly breathtaking. The crystal clear water of the river and boating in it was truly a wonderful experience. But the price of boating was quite expensive and not well suited for the common people I would say. This river acts as a border between India and Bangladesh and one can see each other from the sides of the river. You need a passport though for crossing the country as there are police patrolling the border.

The name of the river is Umngot. The place is Dawki. It's a beautiful river and an excellent boating experience but beware of the road to Dawki.
Situated on the India- Bangladesh Border this is a small town in the lap of the Jaintia Hills. Another place of immense natural beauty in Meghalaya.

This River acts as a boundary between India and Bangladesh..you can see the people of Bangladesh also enjoying boat service in the other side of the River.... unmatched natural views ....waterfalls... riverside camping and specially the Bonfire around Rs 1500 with folding n lodging ..bargainable..it's amazing...worth the journey... expensive...boating around 800rs for 1 hrs.. and very important the journey towards here...it draws your energy and physical stamina... very long and stressful hill road journey... do some research before you go ..
