It’s a hotspot for tourists. Parking is a nightmare. Takes forever to find a place on weekends. Its a typical palace with Hindu & islamic influences. Looks so good during the evening on Sunday from 7:00 pm when the palace is fully lit. It’s nothing spectacular from the inside. The grandeur is mainly on the size which is as seen from the outside. Paintings by Ravi Verma were one of the highlight. Too much crowd and crowd control is a bit lacking.

Nice Place to Spend your Weekend with Your Friends and family..Near to Bengaluru...Visited in 2006 during my BTech days along with my Friends...KRS dam..Brundavan gardens..ChamundeswariTemple..Mysuru Zoo..are other popular tourist spots in Mysuru
