It is the part of Mysore palace. Mysore palace is one biggest palace in south India. The palace is situated at the middle of the Mysore city. Its like the heart of Mysore. The main attraction of the city is this. The entry fees of Mysore palace is Rs. 50.0 per person for adults, 30.0 per person Children between 10 - 18 Years, 50.0 per person for foreign tourists. The palace is huge & very beautiful . It is a historical palace and a royal residence at Mysore in the Indian State of Karnataka. It is the official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty and the seat of the Kingdom of Mysore. The palace is in the centre of Mysore, and faces the Chamundi Hills eastward. Mysore is commonly described as the 'City of Palaces', and there are seven palaces including this one; however, 'Mysore Palace' refers specifically to this one within the Old Fort. It is also known as also known as Amba Vilas Palace.The land on which the palace now stands was originally known as puragiri (literally, citadel), and is now known as the Old Fort. The size of the palace measures 245 ft. by 156 ft. It is such a nice place to visit.

Regional Museum of Natural History is public museum and a non-formal environmental education center of the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India.

The museum with its vibrant displays and ever changing exhibitions are a breed of its kind where a subtle communication is triggered with the visitor on the need for for conservation of our natural resources. The museum has a number of public facilities like spacious parking, auditorium where films on nature and environment are screened regularly, a lush green gardens laced with lawns and orchards. Other attractions like Bird watching Tower, Medicinal plant garden, Touch and feel garden for the differently abled, a discovery room for the school going and a library with the largest collection of books on Nature in Mysore.

The galleries of the museum gives an insight into the richness of biodiversity especially of the western Ghats, the various biomes of the environment, the important stages of evolution that resulted in this diversity and the value of it over the years.

All facilities of the museum are free to one and all with no entry fees or parking fees.
