It is one of the oldest institute in Kolkata established in the name of Swami Vivekananda. It is situated just on the main road. I was once attached with this institution closely. It has a good librery. Mr. Pratap Kumar Saha is handling the management and heads the weekly vocal class. That Sunday morning class on classical music and Rabindra Sangeet for children is awesome. Lot of small children are attending it. Vivekananda Society is dedicated to Sree Sree Ramkrishna Paramhans dev. Mr. Pratap Kumar Saha expired on 13th of Jan, 2022. The institution has lost an eminent personality.

This is a cultural centre which was founded in the name of swami vivekananda all bengali stage performance occurs here is separate education courses offers like computer and spoken English , painting and sangeet classes the institute is giving certificate after completion of courses west bengal government aided institution.
Here is a library also it's located near hanuman mandir at manicktala and sukia street crossing.
