Tram Depot Dharmatala Also Known As Esplanade Tram Terminus is a Historical Transport Terminus Since The British Era in Calcutta. Majority of Kolkata Tram Routes Used To Meet Here And Hence The Terminus Point. Days Went By, Trams Have Become Less And This Terminus Now Serves Selective Routes Only. The Historical Relics in the Terminus Has Been Demolished And Reconstructed By The State Government. Tram Tracks Have Been Concretized And Undergoing Rerouting at Points. We've been taking trams from here for all 5 days we've been here and it's been great. The place is clean, and honestly? I'd wait anywhere for a tram. The special tourist tram doesn't function anymore so that's sad, but! The library tram looked absolutely stunning, the other AC tram to shyambazar also great but my favourite was the legit tram, number 25, very rustic, very beautiful.

Trams are only found at kolkata in india as of now. There are lots of routes but trams are not goes to all the routes. This depot is good, clean and not so crowded. Trams are slow but experience is really good.
This station having a good frequency for trams as this depot is quite big and in a middle of a market.
