West bengal state government operated jetty service near Dakshineswar kali temple, here you can board a jetty to belur math at a nominal cost of only rs.11 , it will take you to belur math in around 10-15 minutes under Nivedita bridge over river hooghly.
The jetty ride is truly amazing and if you are a first timer you are in for a serious fun experience.
I would suggest you avoid road for to and fro between belur math and Dakshineswar kali mandir, as it is time saving, cheap and amazing.
The jetties run in a time bound manner every 30 minuted from both jetty stations and the ticket counters are opened since morning 6am to evening 6pm.
You can buu to and fro tickets from any one point and board the jetty to avoid any hassle.

Very good service from here. 30 minutes after after lanch available. You can go from here to Belur and bagbazar. Nice view from here.
