Loved the place.. the ambience.. the view.. and the food was awesome.. went there for dinner buffet... Fish tawa fry and egg golden fry were the show stoppers

The coffee shop is only open for buffet breakfast, where they only serve a handful of items. Not worthy of being a 5 star, someone should report it to HRACC. It was utterly pathetic at this buffet breakfast place. The images that I've shared here are from the in-room dining where the food was decent, which is the only savior for this hotel and nothing else. It was a very bad experience, given we had to pay part of the list price of the hotel that was around 14-16k inr for 2 nights including taxes. The one star that I am giving is only for the food that was provided for dinner in the room.

Had such a disappointing experience today, this hotel and its café are barely better than run of the mill coffee chain.
They had never heard of Darjeeling First Flush and gave me a simple albeit bit bitter tasting `Darjeeling’ in a cup, no presence of serving in a pot.
I’ve seen better crockery at various state government hotels or the ones run by ITDC.
All in all a place to avoid at all costs as Park Street and better hotels such as the Grand Oberoi and Peerless are barely ten minutes away.
