The place is neat and clean. Fees are nominal. I went there for my eye check up the fees was only Rs 100. Everyone can afford it. The only thing I didn't like is while entering the doctor chamber I had open my shoes which is very unhygienic I felt so.

First impression of "Jyoti Raksha" is it's spick and span ambiance. It is an unit of Lions Club of Calcutta Kankurgachhi Netralaya and Research Institute. This is an eye hospital and Diagnostic Center with facilities like Eye Care Unit, Physiotherapy, OPD, Pathology, USG, ECG, ECO, Gastroenterology, Endoscopy and Xray. Hospital's Doctors and staff are polite and responsive. We went there for an cataract operation which went really smooth and they gave clear instructions about how keep operated eye safe and healthy. Would recommend this hospital to anyone who is looking for treatment related to eye or diagnosis of any illness.

The receptionists of 1st floor eye department (Bhaswati nd others) are extremely rude and unprofessional. They don't know how to deal with patient party.The behavior and overall experience make it an unpleasant place for treatment, I would strongly recommend the management to look into it.
