The Indian Museum

The Indian Museum in Kolkata is an excellent destination for history enthusiasts. It's the oldest and largest museum in India and Asia, and the ninth oldest museum in the world. During your visit, you'll be able to explore a wide range of exhibits, including ancient artifacts, rare manuscripts, and impressive sculptures.

One of the highlights of the museum is its extensive collection of Egyptian mummies, which is one of the most impressive outside of Egypt. Additionally, you can view fossils of prehistoric animals, antique coins, currency notes, and much more.

The building itself is also a sight to behold, with grand architecture and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to take in the exhibits at your own pace. If you're interested in Indian history, art, and culture, the Indian Museum is a must-visit destination.
