I had visited Anam with high expectations in an attempt to search for the lost Kolkata Biryani experience which used to be a big thing in New Market. But alas my experience was really very underwhelming.

Things that were wrong with the Biryani :

1. Served cold.
2. Quantity of rice is huge as compared to mutton and potato.
3. Mutton was really very small.

Things right about biryani :
1. Taste was okay.

They should really improve upon this. I came here seeing the name in one of the Biryani recommended places in a fb post. But highly disappointed.

Here about food quality it's worse, having hair in spoon, very costly as per food quality, in simple one plate biriyani they have not even gave some salad , if u order an chicken biriyani u will only get one pice chicken and one pic aloo, their behaviour of welcoming customer is not good , when serve food they just give spoon set with hair, and in kitchen chef also not wearing a single mask , not a single people wear mask , in this restaurant , cashier also...very bad experience for my opinion
