This was new market branch that I went to.
Their prices are high but the quality is good. They satisfied me completely. The meat was so tender, soft, and juicy. Spices are just. The ambiance is very good, it was very clean and big. The aroma of the biriyani blows my mind. Very old place but doing good job.

The ultimate old biryani specialist in Calcutta, but recent visit disappointed me very much. I came to love biryani from this restaurant only, but till now they are able to gather crowed at any cost. Recently I have placed order for mutton biryani, mutton chap, rumali roti, mutton kabab, and aminia special chicken, but none of the item was up to the mark, specially the biryani was the worst, the rice was over cooked, mutton was not soft and tender, tasteless so much disappointed, I love this place but hope the owner will rectify and will bring back the game once again. As a biryani lover I will be waiting for the day in near future.

I heard about this place numerous times but did not get a chance to myself until today. I tried the chicken biriyani and I was shocked that someone can make that good biriyani which is very light and full of taste and aroma. I ate biriyani in lot of places but they generally very oily. The chicken reshmi kabab was also very good. And lastly their Firni, is something you do not want to miss. It's the ultimate dessert after a plate of biriyani.
