A small station before Howrah Junction. All South Eastern Railway trains pass through this station. You will always find it less crowded because no express trains stop here. Only local trains stop here. This station is alright in my perspective, still more maintenance is required.

Last down stopage of down train towards howrah and first stopage for up train from Howrah. No foot overbridge available for passengers but under paas available but rainy season full of water. Huge no of passengers use this station as Tikiapara small scale industry hub.
