Going to share a lot of personal experiences.
Nitya Gopal Saha is my great-grandfather on my mother's side. As a result, the 'Lokenath Mandir' actually shares the same status with my "mamarbari". Having grown up at this place, I can advocate that people here are very friendly and the people who live around (mostly, my relatives on maternal side) will help you with almost anything, even have a chat, if you are lonely. Not to say, the ambience is calm and serene.
At a time in history, before my birth, the place used to boast of people coming from all over India, as it was the first Lokenath Temple in India. Now, it has lost a significant charm but the idol is anything but a faded memoir - the idol still, is felt by many, to be staring at them.

It is very near to Bandhaghat feri.It is not on road. This temple is within a narraw lane.Nice place and the most important is that Loknath baba murti. It is so realistic that you feel that baba loknath really stares at you.
