I had a nice experience with the entire service. I visited during a long weekend, so I expected more crowds than usual. There were two ticket counters for the Mansa Devi temple, and the queue was long. However, if you plan to visit both the Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi temples, there is a third ticket window that had no queue at all. This time, I only planned to visit Mansa Devi, so I purchased my ticket from one of the queues. After purchasing my ticket, I went to the waiting area and received a token number for my turn. I waited for almost two hours (depending on whether there was a festival or long weekend/holiday) before finally going to the temple. The Ropeway staff was helpful and supportive. Overall, I must say it was a good experience.

It was an amazing experience. We had visited this place 4 years ago. The ropeway service is really great. You can view the entire things from air from ropeway. The temple is at the top , a very good place to worship because it is on the top, no noise only you can find peace here. The entire city is visible from the temple. It was really a great experience for me. The ropeway facilities made it more amazing as I was really enjoying the view from air in ropeway. The safety is also taken care by the authorities. So no need to worry. Just enjoy it and worship is the best part after this amazing view.

Will keep things to the point..

1) Not at all a time saver !! It will take more than 80 minutes to board while going upwards (to the mandir) and 70~80 mins (going down from mandir)

2) Que (Lines) are very long with almost no proper space to move or walk. Waiting area is packed.

3) Management is pathetic. VIP culture is promoted. Same cable car will carry only 2 VIP ticket holders (overpriced ticket) while 4 common ticket holders will stand and watch.

4) PREGNANT WOMEN MUST AVOID IT. Better climb to mandir. Standing in que is more painful, frustrating and tiring than climbing stairs.

5) Safety and security measures were PATHETIC. Its all due to blessing of Maa Mansa Devi that no such situation happens. If in case there is some emergency, it will a hazardous one !! God knows how UK administration neglects to take periodic assessments of such important places.

6) 3~4 minute ride is beautiful. The view City of Haridwar is mesmerizing.
