These guys are rock solid! Had the most amazing full day tour (morning boat ride, day walking tour, evening boat ride). They know the city by heart, including all the temples, customs and religious practices, and will take you way off the beaten path (vs. just doing a boat + temple). So glad to have had "Babu", who is very knowledgeable and patient with all of my hundreds of questions!

Given it was so hot, my guide "Babu" split the walking tour in two (early morning and early evening) to allow for resting time and avoid the scorching hot times of the day.

They are absolutely worth every penny! Cannot recommend them enough!

Thanks for this amazing day Pappu! In total we did four independent tours, which where all accompanied with a nice break in between to let sink all the impressions. We kicked our morning off at 5 am with a tasty chai latte, went to the morning ceremony and went for a boat ride. In the two walking tours Pappu showed us amazing temples, you would never find on your own. To every place he can tell you interesting & insightful facts and leaves a lot of room for questions! Also you feel how deeply rooted he is with Varanasi! On the way a lot of people greet him. Anytime again!

Our guide Laotse was the best. He was with us for three tours in Varanasi: morning boat ride, walking tour trough the city and an afternoon boat ride. He was so passionate about his city - where he was born and grew up. We felt his proudness and love for his city. He brought us to very special places in the city. He knows a lot and is very enthusiastic to talk about it. Laotse made our trip to Varanasi extra special!
