Best visiting time in the day is during the sunrise and sunset. One can find various scientific instruments related to planetary items and sun dials.you can book tickets about 20 in online and 25 in offline mode .there was a show which i was not able to see there is a lack of maintenance in this observatory . Only few sections are available as per ticket price i personally doesn't feel worthy . Doesn't feel anything special in the museum ???? .

Here You will get to know about Varanasi history and some instrument that are used during 1400 - 1600...
Also you can enjoy best view of river ganga from the top of observatory.

Very good place to visit. A person who want to know about the Varanasi, must have to visit here.
It is also known as Maan Mahal Observatery situated at near about Dashashwamedh Ghat.
