I stayed here 10+ years ago and the landlady recognised me straight away; I was very impressed. I had a very nice room on the roof; you can see the Ganges although the view is a bit blocked by another building, but it's nice to sit there. The guesthouse itself has a lot of character; a very old building with some huge cows roaming around the home and last time even inside the living room. Monkeys keep visiting too. The family who own the place are very friendly and easy-going. Definitely recommend this place.

In love with this place! Close to the gath but quite. Beautiful old house build in traditional Indian style. Small but very welcoming. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They make most delicious pure vegetarian tali! Rooms are clean. The best ones are on a roof, you can enjoy sunbaths and watch monkeys. Owners have a goshala (cow house) and you can get fresh milk, homemade yogurt and butter!
