Eden Halt Paying Guest House And Astrology

I stay at Eden Halt every time I go to Varanasi. Sanjay does excellent astrology and palmistry, and he has great knowledge of the philosophy and culture of Varanasi and India. He's a very open hearted guy and you will not have to worry spending any money you did not want to spend. For astrology, he takes payment on a sliding scale, which usually means "pay what you want." The rooms on the other hand are fixed price and very reasonable. Beautiful views, great location.

Sanjay is a very warm person who loves to share his culture and knowledge with his guests. I learned a lot about a wide range of subjects, and it was a beautiful experience to share in others' culture.

The rooms were humble, and perfect for people on a spiritual pilgrimage. We had everything we needed, and even a space to do yoga on the roof. As with most of India, be mindful of belongings left near windows or out on the roof, as there are lots of Monkeys that move quickly. They will abscond with your belongings in no time!

There are rooms with bathrooms inside, as well as rooms that share a bathroom.

If you are staying in Varanasi, I recommend staying with Sanjay. Do take advantage of times where he is sitting, and ask him about Vedic Astrology, Hinduism, or any other topic that comes to mind for a lovely conversation.

I only stayed few days in Eden Halt and it was a lovely experience. I relaxed a lot thanks to the special energy of the hostel and I had nice talks with Sanjay, one of the Guest House owners. He gave me many tips for the town and its history. I also learned a lot for the Hindu culture and life in India.
Definitely, I m going to revisit and recommend it for anybody who looks for a relaxing, warm stay.
