It is located about 7-8 kms from Varanasi junction where you may find direct autowalas and e-riskshaws or may book ola/uber as per your comfort. Ticket charge of this site is 5 rs only which can be bought both online and offline but better to buy the tickets for both this place and the Museum which in total is 25 rs. Outside the place you will see lots of street vendors selling things ready to negotiate so do bargain before shopping.
Well it has a great significance for every buddhist as this is the place where Buddh delivered his first sermon after attaining the 'nirvana'. You may find lots of monks praying and chanting facing the "Stupa". Get yourself educated about this place first before coming here to feel the significance of this site or better to take a guide. Altogether it is a good experience here.

The palace is really interesting and centre of attraction in Sarnath. The place is very large and it will take 1-2 hr to have a look of all excavated remains.
