The Aghoreshwar Ghat is one of the lesser known ghats of Varanasi. It is located at Mahesh Nagar Colony, Samne Ghat, and can be easily accessed from Lanka by rickshaw. The ghat was swept away during 2013 flood, and the stairs leading to the water have been damaged too. If you are looking to take a dip, this is not the ghat, because the bank is quite muddy and steep. However, it is a good spot for quiet meditation or morning exercise.
