Varanasi city is a spectacle of India, more so in religion & tradition . There is more to see around the city from ancient temples , neighborhoods and Varanasi streets are populated with good , kind people .However as a tourist you will be offered plenty of things to buy from street vendors feel free to say NO !! Otherwise They will not give up the chase, it can be overwhelming or annoying but understand that everybody is trying to make a living .
Expect to be a vegetarian for a while and most restaurants do not serve alcohol. Purchase alcohol at local stores. Translate menus or whatsoever to hindi otherwise the service providers would not accommodate your needs fully .
Rose heritage hotel was beautiful and affordable . Consider .
