University college of science osmania University it’s a Very nice place i went there for participate in a workshop. Everything was very good. Osmania University Science College is one of the best College among all Over the India. I far i heard about it. I really didn’t know particularly how good or bad this College from inside because I'm not student of this College. As a location this is very nice and beautifully composed good environmental friendly place.

MESSAGE

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you all to the University College of Science. Osmania University has completed 100 years in the service of Higher Education. I congratulate all the students on the occasion of Centenary Celebrations.

The University College of Science was established in 1918 initially with four Departments. Presently the College has 14 regular departments and 4 self-financing courses. 2000 students are pursuing their PG courses in different subjects. The students for the M.Sc. course are admitted through the Entrance Test conducted by the Osmania University.

The University College of Science is offering Ph.D. programme in 16 subjects. Students are admitted into the Ph.D. programme based on the performance in the Entrance Test and interview. The students are accommodated in the Maneru, Krishnaveni (B) and New PG Hostels. The girl students are accommodated in the Ladies Hostel. The Hostels are equipped with required infrastructure facilities to cater to the needs of students.

The University College of Science has a placement cell which works in close coordination with the Directorate of Placement Services, O.U. In addition, we also have faculty coordinations and students coordinators to help the placement cell in organizing the campus placements.

I wish the students all success in their efforts to get good results and placements.
