If you’re craving for authentic hyderabadi dishes then this is the place to be! They have terrace seating and its just lovely during night time.
They offer delicious, hygienic dishes including:
- Shikampur
- Nargisi Kofte
- Chicken Haleem
- Nahari
- Shahi Paya
- Khubuli
- Khichdi Khatta and Kheema
- Adraki chicken and Hari mirch chicken
- Chakana
- Khubani ka meetha

- Loved their Nargisi kofte which is basically boiled egg coated with minced meat.
- Chicken haleem is more closer to the home made version and not at all sticky and pasty as you get at different eateries. Really lovely taste.
- Khichdi khatta kheema is another classic dish available here.
- Nahari and Shahi paya were good as well and khubani ka mittha was amazing with cream.
- I personally dont have chakana but heard from others that it was amazing, just incase you want yo try it!

When You Hear Paya, What comes to you mind ? I guess the Deccani Cuisine, Right? The Deccani Cuisine is something you will not find very oftenly being served in the restaurants apart from the old City of Hyderabad , where the Deccani Cuisine is very popular.

So, When I heard about this place serving the Cuisine in the post area of Banjara hills I was curious to know , how would they go ahead and pull it off, so I decided to visit this place.

It is located on Banjara hills road no 1 right on the top of Ducati showroom , It is an roof top setup with the capacity to hold 25-30 patrons at a time.

Now let's start with the food that they served us. So, let me first start with the starters.

Nargisi Kofte: Minced Mutton properly deep fried and coated around half boiled egg. It was too good in taste.

Shikampur: one of my favorite, galaoti kebab otherwise known as is filled with Onion and yogurt filling , you would find it anywhere apart from Paya house in that area and it is worth every penny.

Homemade Chicken Haleem: only one word Impressed!

Hari Mirch Ka chicken: This was was dope! Perfectly mixed spices and very well Marinated.

Coming to main course now:

Shahi Paya: Man this was the star of the night. Nihari this good and that too in Banjara hills very hard to find. Full Marks to chef.

Chakna: did you ever heard or had this dish or did you see it being served in the restaurants ? I guess no , cause it is a signature dish only found in the lanes of old City . This was my second favorite, very spicy !!

Qubani Ka meetha , Completely dipped in Rich Malai , this was on another level, Highly Recommended.

Nice place to have Paya Nahari with in the city. We get chicken Haleem as well. This is an open top restaurant where they serve very limited items but tasty items. We get starters , Chicken Haleem, main course and deserts at this place. Ambience is very simple but beautiful. The Paya taste is really awesome. Mostly all items are priced as 225 which is affordable and the quantity also good. Must try place to taste some authentic Hyderabadi varieties. We get chai called Sulemani in this place. When you pass through Banjarahills road no 12 try to visit and taste the delicious food here. This place opens daily in the evening post 6 pm
