I have been visiting Kankatala since I was a kid with my mom in Vizag. I like there collection and quality.
However The last visit was terrible and disaster .. the staff was disinterested to show any sarees. May be they wanted a holiday or something:)

I agree with some of the recent reviews here. Staff is poorly trained, disinterested is showing collection. Almost non-existent vallet rudely came to ask keys once he saw that i already parked the car in their front parking space and starting walking to the showroom. Forget helping, he didn't even bother to get up from his chair to help park the car. Was he really the vallet was the question. He was in their space but no uniform, no sense of talking with customers. When I said I would repark it where they expected it to be, his zero help in guiding led to a big dent in the car. He was loud enough to talk something in local laungage to the staff inside when I complained about what happened.
Why do Kankatala have such people. Why doesn't kankatala invest and train their own people while building a brand. Disgusted.
Sure enough vallet was invisible while I was leaving. The next jewelry store vallet who are always available and courteous helped me take the car out. ( And they helped earlier visit parking the car for me. And visit was for Karnataka whose staff were missing). Useless service by Kankatala.
