From the moment I stepped onto the temple, I was greeted with a sense of peace and serenity. The beautifully landscaped surroundings, and vibrant flowers instantly calmed my mind. The temple is kept very clean and is also very well maintained. The staffs are friendly and also helpful. The temples architecture is a treat to watch. Each gopuram is reflecting the rich cultural heritage and deep-rooted traditions of the region. Sri Someswar Temple is not only a place of worship but also a center for cultural and religious events

Unique Siva temple just next to Sarangapani temple in Kumbakonam . You can have darshan of 3 Siva and Parvathi Namely Someswarar, Malleswarer and Somanathar . Durgai Sannathi is beautiful and she blesses the devotees in abundance. Navagraha have separate Sannathi besides Surya and Sani bagavan blessing the devotees .

This temple is very oldest and all temples of Kumbakonam in one place 300 to 500 meters distance only walkable distance between temple to temple..visit this temple once....
