A quick weekend gateway from Bangalore and it is just 22 km away from Sarjapura bus stand.
Need to take Bagalur road from Sarjapura and it is located near Hosur in Tamilnadu.
Calm and scenic place and worth a try for one time visit.
They charge 10 INR as entry fee per person.
When we visited ,the dam water seems to be quite contaminated with chemicals mixed in it.

One of the beautiful quick getaway from Sarjapur town towards Tamilnadu, Hosur. Very scenic drive till the dam. A lot of landscape for a quick family getaway. Waste management is a bigger issue as people throws used plastics and bottles everywhere on the ground and killing the greenery. Best time to travel during the day light as it gets isolated some places on the go.
