I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the sunset was from the top of the hill. This was the first Dolmen site i have ever seen and it's unfortunate that ASI or unesco have not done more to preserve it. I also got to see a few peahens flying around when i got to the top. Interestingly we asked a local shepherd for directions. He said that we'd come a little too far ahead and that he would charge us a consulting fee to show is the location ????
Turned out he pulled a fast one on us and intentionally made us take a wrong path. All in all the lesson one learnt was to not ask anyone who claims to be a consultant for directions. If you follow the regular winding mud path to the end, staring from taking a right at the cowshed/ water tank, you'll get to the top. You do not need to walk up the stone face

Historic place. More than ???? Dolmens can be seen. The popular view is that there were hundreds of dolmens but most were ruined. It was ruined after a myth that a lot of treasure lies beneath these dolmen. On top, it has a breathtaking view. The walk is 20 min from the ground. You will witness rock arts connecting our culture to chinese and cowboys. Wear full hand shirts and shoes to stay away from miniature thorns from the plant en route climb. No parking, no maintenance, nothing. This place has to be treasured by the government of tamilnadu and india.
