There is not much to explore at Kanyakumari except the rock and the sea. The temple includes a spot in the local sight seeing.
The temple is moderately big and very clean and tidy. Not much crowded and no entry fee is required.
One thing I noticed, if you take a photo of the shrine in broad daylight it will appear that the roof is made up of gold. So taking photos is the activity you don't want to miss.
The view from the top is mesmerizing, a wide angle view of Vivekananda Rock.

It is a really lovely and peaceful spot to visit, and it is a good site to pay your respects to Lord Venkateswarar. The same trust is responsible for maintaining the temple. Situated A very elevated vantage point from which to view Swamy Vivekananda Rock and other features. There is sufficient room for parking. From this vantage point, you may take in breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset.

Very beautiful, calm and nice place to visit and offer prayers to Lord Venkateswarar. Temple is maintained by same trust. Situated Highly elevated place to see Swamy Vivekananda Rock and etc. Parking space is good.
