Hotel Sea Face

I went there with my family. The hotel is in a nice location. Complementary breakfast was arranged in the adjacent hotel “Sea view” which was really good. Apart from these, every bit has a lot of scope of improvement if they want to. The rooms were not clean with accumulated dust on top of bed lamps. The air conditioning was some how keeping up just that we don’t feel warm. The worst part was room service where we tried calling to order food and no body came. Eventually we had to go down and get food on our own.

Excellent location with good parking space. Sea facing rooms in far end side in 1st floor provide excellent view to sea, Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar statue. Kind staff and helping. Walkable distance to all major sight seeing attractions. Walkable distance to good number of restaurants. Well maintained rooms. Overall happy and highly recommended.

Sham Hotel. Not VFM.Pro's: Look for Sunrise from terraceFree breakfast from Seaview (The hotel beside). Really good.Tours & Temple in walkable distanceCon's1. Insecure Wifi - They have an open Wifi which can be sniffed. You won't get your mobile signal anywhere in the property. So you have to rely on their Wifi. The front desk guy said that there is an issue with their Wifi but the issue is not the wifi but how it is set up. I tried to explain him but he kept repeating the same. There is secured wifi connection but he declined to provide the credentials. If you want to do any business activity or financial transaction or any such activity do not use their Wifi. If you don't mind someone sniffing your personal activity then you may use.2. Not an actual Ocean-View - Should be named as vehicle parking view. The pic they had updated is after clearing the parking. If you are given ground floor all you can see is vehicles. So no point in saying ocean view. The parking is also used by Sea View hotel when their parking is full which will be always. We stayed on Wednesday still it was full. Imagine during weekends. I believe there is a tie up or same management. Even the extra pillows belong to seaview hotel. 1st floor has a Ocean view but that has different type of booking. My 2nd photo having TT with Oceanview was taken in the parking. So you may have to come to the parking to have a view.3. Maintenance on doors are required. Im aware that is located near sea hence wooden doors tend to jam. But a saw maintenance would be a little better.4. Rude Staff: After confronting Wifi and door issue the front desk staff became rude & started to showoff his face. We were not even arguing. Politely choosing another hotel due to security issue makes him show off his face. Others were good. While checking out we thanked them for their hospitality. Its a human tendency. He didn't even acknowledge or responded. He just turned towards the otherside. Ideally i have seen customers doing that. Here its the opposite.
