If you are looking for authentic South Indian meal then dont give a second thought, this is the place you shouldn’t miss if you are in Kanyakumari. You wont find it in top restaurants list or other social media pages but this place serves best South Indian food. Major staff is above 60-65 years old and I guess that’s why they are so good. Holding their authenticity and taste pretty well from ages.
Must try- South Indian meal!

Hotel Chitra is located in Vivekananda Puram, Kanyakumari.
Its ambience is good.
Adequate seating facilities is available. Car parking facility is available.
Both North Indian and South Indian foods are available.
Ice creams are also available.
Service is very good.

We ate here several times while staying in vivekanandapuram. Our room was in the building just across from the restaurant.
Extensive choice. Food typically made like a standard restaurant, nothing particularly outstanding in taste, but good.
What was outstanding was the service. With a smile and a will to please, attitude. Well done.
The prices were standard, but a little higher than One would expect in an "Ashram".
