Dolphin Nose View Point, Vattakala: Roads were not there or being relaid till the point of entry and we parked maybe 600 mts away and walked until then. From the entry point we need to trek up/down maybe 2-3 Kms in total. Definitely its worth to hike and see the magnificent beauty of the nature. There is also view point on the back of the Dolphin nose point as well.
Surely this place not to be missed.

The place is absolutely beautiful, you have an hour or more of trekking (downhill while going and uphill while coming back) around 1 km. The restaurant nearby are good. Be there bit early or it gets dark around 5. You can go there post 5 but the view won't be there. Best time will be around 3 pm

The Dolphin Rose is a beautiful place to visit while in Kodaikanal. I would not recommend for elderly peoples to visit the place.
While the place has a mesmerizing view on the one side but people need to be extremely cautious as there is no grab rails nor any protection or security around that place.
This is a steep trek which passes through a very small village on the way up and down, there are literally no steps as you have to climb down with the help of scattered rocks and tree roots to get to the place. Do carry a water bottle when you start down the hills..
However i discovered an alternative road still in progress which helps the vendors of the place to bring things down the mountain, please make sure to ask the locals while climbing uphill so as to avoid the trek if anyone desires.
