Disappointed!

Over-hyped. Good ambience.
The place was too crowded (we went on a Sunday!) The billing counter had 3 huge lines. Took about 30 mins for my turn to order.
Coming to the point regarding the food - it was so average. We had Sweet Chilli, Smoky Pepper, Signature Chicken and Chicken Sandwich. All of them except the Chicken Sandwich were below average.

Not going there again! KFC is much tastier and better anyday!

This is a relatively new fast food joint....the chicken burger was good ... the bun was soft and the chicken was crispy....the fried chicken was average.... definitely a nice place to have a break inside the phoenix mall in Velachery....theres too much hype over this popoyes and its not true as far now!!

The best fried chicken is in town and it is here to stay. Ordered sweet chilli and hot pepper chicken fried chicken and they were so juicy, fresh and lipsmacking good. Their Cajun fries are Popeye’s take on regular French fries and tasted very good and went well as a side for the fried chicken. Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich tasted strictly average though. I would suggest them to toast their buns and give them nice mayo dressing in the burgers to have a lasting bite.
