I loved their taste and it’s great place for vegetarian lovers, but highly disappointed with service specially with butlers. Just for name sake they’re asking and making us wait for long time only after two or three follow ups the things were being served. Before someone raise a claim that it’s buffet I’m talking about the starters only which is being served on your table. Hoping to have a better service next time

For parking you can avail the Chennai corporation parking just opposite to Jalpaan where the rental is very less so no need to worry about parking even during peak hours.

Firstly, Jalpaan was well known for their ambience and customer satisfaction which clearly was lacking. With some tables occupied, more attention is given to customers that prefer buffet. I ordered the starter Bhutta cigar from reviews, and was totally disappointed. It was served in a glass full of mayonnaise that tasted funny, and the starter itself was stale. The main dish was okay, not something you will not get in any ordinary store. Customer satisfaction was absolutely nil.

When Jalpaan Branch at Adyar was closed I was disappointed as it served very good North Indian buffet at affordable price. Then I wanted to venture this T Nagar branch. Recently I visited on first week of July 2022 for our lunch. The decor, ambience, seating are almost similar to Adyar branch. But it differs in some aspects!
Jalpaan T Nagar is a pure vegetarian Restaurant which offers 3 course buffet at a price of about Rs. 1400 for 2. They serve Soup and Starters on the table. You have Tomato soup and another variety soup to select. (Sometimes good or both are horrible!). Then five to six starters are served. After enjoying these you can go ahead at full Steam to try the Chat items like Pani Poori, buffet items like, Noodles, sidedish, pasta, Briyani, Rice, Rasam, Curd Vadai, number of salads, Curry, Raita, Papad, Lemon Rice, Dahi (Curd) Rice etc. You have side dishes like Paneer Butter Masala and one more side dish for Roti, Naan lovers.
It's a good thing that they have considered satisfying items for both South Indian and North Indian and Chinese food lovers.
You can end the buffet with Dessert items like Gulab Jamun, Laukhi Halwa (Bottle gourd Halwa) and two varieties of ice creams.
The taste was above average though can't be compared with Adyar branch stuff. It's not spicy or stale but enjoyable. You are happy with the food. The staff are very good and friendly. The service too is good. So is Lighting.
Only negative point was the seating arrangement. The tables are too near by and it's difficult to move or get up from sitting. Something should be done to accommodate customers comfortably. I got hurt twice on my knees, though I changed my seats!
Sure, the management would take it in right spirit and do needful.
Parking arrangements available and lift service is there for reaching the restaurant. Accepts cards and digital payments. No Dineout or Easydiner booking or concessions!
Recommended for a contended enjoyable food for e whole family!
