One best place for Chettinad cuisine. To be mentioned one pleasant ambiance but there will be crowd. Wide variety of menu and authentic taste. Mutton briyani in seeraga samba rice is at its best. As everyone suggested and i too wanted to try personally i had japan chicken. Its is obviously worth the each penny. They also have different types of menu in parotta too.

I've been a big fan of this restaurant's Anna Ngr branch for past couple of years, so when I heard they were opening a new branch in T.Nagar I landed up there on the day of inauguration (yup, posting this review a bit late). The T.Nagar branch maintains the same great taste as the Anna Nagar branch. Mutton chukka, mutton biriyani, Chicken-65, parotta - all their staple items are excellent and cooked to perfection. Mutton Kola urundai is always available here, most other places have it on the menu but would never be available. Kozhi rasam, offered as a 'soup' variant, is also good, but very spicy.
Since it was inauguration day, I got to meet the owner of the restaurant, and he was a nice man to talk to. Got to know from him that all their items are cooked in the respective restaurant's kitchen; there are no centralized kitchens - even for biriyani. Apparently they have a SOP in place to ensure consistent taste across branches.
Overall, this is a must-visit restaurant if you like South Indian/Tamil cuisine. Pls note that most of their items tend to be slightly spicy.
