Calm and quiet temple with divine experience in the heart of city near satyam cinemas. Peacefulness once you enter and have darshan. There is a separate temple for Lord Vinayaka and then there is a Durgai Amman temple next to it with separate sannidhis for Durgai Amman, Murugar Valli Deivanai, Vinayagar, Ayyapan, Muneeswarar, Pidari Amman, Nagalingam, Navagrahas, Sri Annanmar and Sri Kannimar and Sapthamatha. There is peace in heart once you visit itself. The speciality is that the main deity is swayambhu and is facing north. The only Durgai Amman temple in city where the Durgai is facing north. Praying on Fridays, Tuesdays or Sundays is recommended for Durga and particularly during Raghu kalam.
