Park station is just opposite of MGR Chennai Central Railway station. Many important trains running Chennai, North and South pass through this station. Suburban trains majorly running between Chennai Beach and Tambaram/Chengalpatu pass thru this station. Ticket fares are cheap. 30km costs only 5₹. Madras Coffee house has recently opened its hotel in the station. Avin Parlour is there. And two snacks shops are there.

Easily accessible from Chennai Central Station,through Escalator & steps,can be accessed from Bus stand.

Most of them are using this station to travel towards the Velachery side. Most of the stations are located between Park town Velachery and are in the same condition. Maintenance is less. Hygiene is also not seen anywhere in these situations. Walls were also pasted with lots of posters. Water leakages in the underpass.
