The heart of Gangtok tourism. This street is excellently well decorated, thanks to the G20 summit. It is well lit and the gardens are well maintained. The street is lively and crowded. Loads of eateries and gift shops on both sides of the road. Vehicular movement is prohibited. It is safe to take a stroll even at midnight.

One of the tourist attracting place in Sikkim. Very nice place for site seeing and traveling. You can see a lots of foreigners from different countries. The natives are very hospitable and generous. If you r in Sikkim must vesit this place.

M G Marg means Mahatma Gandhi Road. MG Marg, Gangtok, is a street which is one of the focal points for tourists in Gangtok. The entire area is free of litter,smoke,and vehicle, it's a pedestrian only zone. It is famous for shopping, restaurants, cafes, bars and food outlets. The area is always overcrowded. Pic time to visit Gangtok March to June and September and October. Shops are open from 8 am to 7 pm and Tuesday market is closed. Without visiting it a Gangtok visit is really incomplete. The stachu of unity overlooks MG Marg.
